FULL MODULAR HILT
Durable sections that lock around the internal chassis—built for play, adventure, and the occasional living-room duel.
PLAY-READY
THE COMPLETE BUILD-YOUR-OWN ADVENTURE
A full illuminated saber kit engineered so first-time builders can do the whole thing themselves. No soldering. No programming. Just connect, assemble, and ignite.
THE WHOLE BUILD. ONE BOX.
TykeSabers turns the magic of an illuminated saber into a real hands-on maker experience. Every kit includes a complete hilt and a pre-programmed electronics system mounted in an assemble-it-yourself chassis.
Color-coded plug connectors make each component approachable. Younger builders get the pride of making something real; parents get a guided project without a soldering iron or a computer science degree. A surprisingly sensible arrangement.
WHAT’S INSIDE
Final components and specifications are still being refined. The mission is not.
Durable sections that lock around the internal chassis—built for play, adventure, and the occasional living-room duel.
PLAY-READYInstall and connect the pre-programmed electronics yourself. Every part has a place—and every builder gets the victory.
THE REAL BUILDSimple keyed connectors replace soldering and coding. Connect light, sound, power, and controls with confidence.
NO SOLDERINGYOUR BUILD SEQUENCE
Match the keyed plugs and bring the electronics system together—light, sound, controls, and power.
Secure the chassis, close the hilt, and make the build your own. The included screws are small; adult supervision is prudent.
Power up the saber you assembled, then take it off the workbench. It is designed to be played with, not merely admired.
BUILTWHY TYKESABERS EXISTS
The first spark for TykeSabers came from a childhood obsession with building, imagining, and turning a pile of parts into something legendary.
We are creating the kit we would have wanted then: approachable enough for a first-time maker, satisfying enough to feel real, and durable enough to become part of the adventure afterward.
FIELD QUESTIONS
No. The electronics are pre-programmed and use simple keyed plug connectors. Builders assemble the internal chassis and connect the components—without soldering or writing code.
TykeSabers is being designed for younger makers, families, and complete beginners. The final recommended age will be published after product and safety testing. Adult supervision is recommended because the kit includes small screws and electrical components.
That is the objective. The hilt and finished system are being engineered for active play and friendly dueling—not merely shelf display. Final durability guidance will accompany the production kit.
TykeSabers is currently in development. The CNC hilt prototype is underway, and the internal chassis and final electronics layout are next. Launch details will appear here when the kit is ready.
